Are you looking for a comprehensive plan for your front yard or backyard - or both?
I take you through a step-by-step process from start to finish. I translate your goals and ideas into a finished plan that is uniquely you and fits your site’s conditions. The result is a comprehensive plan to your future thriving and functional, ecological and resilient garden.
the design process
01 initial phone call
After you complete the contact form, I will reach out to discuss how we can work together.
02 on-site consultation
I will schedule to meet you in your garden to walk it with you, discuss you goals and challenges, and share general feedback and recommendations.
My consultation fee is $200-300.
03 proposal and questionnaire
Moving forward, I will send you a written proposal for the design work along with a form so I can find out more about your garden preferences.
04 site analysis
Upon you signing the contract, I will assess your garden’s conditions and take measurements of the space.
05 vision board and concepts
In a virtual meeting I will present initial concept sketches along with inspiration images. This will guide the direction of the design.
06 final plan set: planting plan, lists, and images
Meeting you in your garden, I will present you the landscape design and discuss with you the installation options.
Each landscape design project is quoted individually and typically starts at $750.

I can help you ensure that your project gets built and planted as designed and act as point of contact between you and the installer.

Are you doing the work yourself and want (re)assurance that everything is going according to plan? Is your project installed, all plants planted, and now you have questions? I can guide you.
Each add-on is charged on an hourly basis.
garden coaching
This is a great option if you love to garden and are looking for some advice.
Do you feel unsure about how to take care of your garden or what to do about this one plant? Do you have ideas and are looking for a sounding board before you get to work?
how this works
I will meet you in your garden and listen to your ideas, challenges, and questions.
I will have practical, common sense, hands-on tips and tricks for you. I will show you how to address and solve the garden issues you have and share my honest feedback to your ideas.
You will receive an action plan that you can execute no matter your level of experience.
So, have your pen and paper ready and jot down notes. I can provide you with a report and sketch, or manual if you prefer. Let’s discuss that upfront.
A consultation lasts typically 1-2 hours and cost is based on my hourly rate and your choice of deliverables.
