about

Hello, I am Bianca!

I have been gardening and designing gardens for over 25 years.

Born and raised in Germany, I became a licensed gardener first before pursuing studies in landscape architecture in Hannover (Germany) and Philadelphia, PA (USA).

Having worked in both countries, I bring a unique and broad range of experience to each project. My professional background includes landscaping and garden maintenance, design-build firms, both large and small landscape architecture offices, and working in a botanical garden. This diverse professional journey allows me to approach each project with both practical horticultural knowledge and strong sense of design.

In 2021, I founded HABITATS&GARDENS to combine my gardening expertise with ecological principles, helping homeowners envision and create sustainable, resilient landscapes that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.

I continue learning to expand and deepen my knowledge. I am certified by and am a member of a variety of organizations:

volunteering

Participating in events near my home has been a lot of fun and allowed me to meet many like-minded and interested members of all ages in my community.
